When Everton Football Club announced the construction of their new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, it marked one of the most significant football ground developments in the UK. MorFabrication was appointed to manufacture and install over 250 bespoke architectural metalwork items across the West Stand’s premium hospitality areas, working alongside main contractor Overbury to deliver a truly world-class matchday experience.
Project Overview
The scope of this project was unlike anything we had previously undertaken. Across multiple hospitality areas including Village Street, Domingo’s Bar & Grill, the Owners’ Bar & Boxes, and several other premium spaces within the West Stand, our team manufactured more than 250 individual items — each one designed, fabricated, finished, and installed by MorFabrication.
From initial design consultation through to final installation, every piece was manufactured at our Newcastle facility, with all powder coating completed in-house at our dedicated powder coating workshop. This level of control over the entire production process ensured consistent quality across every item, regardless of material or finish.

What We Manufactured
The breadth of items we produced for Everton Stadium demonstrates MorFabrication’s versatility as architectural metalwork specialists. The project demanded precision across a wide range of product types and materials.
Bar Gantries & Back-Bar Frameworks
We manufactured multiple bar gantry designs across the stadium’s hospitality areas, each tailored to the unique interior design of its venue. These ranged from overhead glass rack systems with brass detailing to full back-bar frameworks with illuminated shelving, expanded mesh panels, and integrated display sections. Every gantry was designed to be both functional for bar operations and visually striking as a centrepiece.

Screens & Dividers
Among the most visually impressive items we produced were the brass circle screens with antique aged copper inserts, installed in the Owners’ Bar area. These decorative screens required meticulous attention to detail — each interlocking brass circle was individually fabricated before the hand-finished copper inserts were set in place. The result is a striking feature that combines traditional metalworking craft with contemporary interior design.
We also manufactured expanded mesh screens, glass partition frames, laser-cut decorative panels, and curved rope divider structures, each serving to create distinct zones within the open-plan hospitality spaces.

Countertops, Tables & Seating
Our fabrication work extended to zinc, copper, and steel countertops for bars and servery areas throughout the West Stand. We manufactured industrial-style table pedestals with distinctive wheel-handle bases for Village Street, along with booth seating frames designed to complement the premium upholstery and integrate seamlessly with the venue’s interior architecture.

Light Fixtures & Decorative Metalwork
We designed and manufactured bespoke brass globe light fixtures that sit between the VIP booth seating areas. These one-of-a-kind fixtures were fabricated in brushed brass and integrate lighting within a sculptural metalwork form, serving as both functional lighting and a design feature within the premium hospitality areas.

Servery Counters & Commercial Metalwork
The food and beverage operation at Everton Stadium required substantial commercial metalwork, including full-length stainless steel servery counters with overhead gantries, and powder coated servery bars with illuminated panel fronts. These items needed to meet the demands of high-volume matchday service whilst maintaining the premium aesthetic of the hospitality areas.

Materials & Finishes
This project showcased the full range of materials and finishes available from MorFabrication. We worked extensively with mild steel, stainless steel, and brass throughout the project, applying a variety of specialist finishes to achieve the designers’ vision for each space.
Key finishes included powder coating (completed entirely in-house), blackened and patinated steel, brushed brass, antique aged copper, and zinc finish. Our in-house powder coating facility was particularly valuable on this project — with over 250 items requiring finishing, having full control over the coating process meant we could guarantee consistency and meet the demanding programme schedule without relying on third-party subcontractors.

Why This Project Matters
Everton’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is one of the most significant sports venue developments in the UK. Being trusted to deliver the architectural metalwork package for the West Stand hospitality areas — working to the exacting standards of main contractor Overbury — reflects MorFabrication’s capability to operate at the highest level of commercial and architectural metalwork fabrication.
This project demonstrates that a Newcastle-based fabrication company can deliver nationally on major prestige projects, combining traditional metalworking skills with modern manufacturing processes. From CNC profiling and precision welding through to in-house powder coating and on-site installation, every stage of production was managed under one roof.
