Morfabrication leads the way in steelwork quality

Firmly establishing itself in the Northeast, Morfabrication has continued to build, develop, and grow.

After recently adding to their team, business improvement partners BSI have also conducted a robust audit of the Morfabrication environment, analysing internal systems and metal work processes to award Morfabrication the BS EN1090 ex-2 and ISO 9001 quality management system certifications.

“This is a big achievement for our team and company. To be recognised for providing high standards in the metal and steel industry and to pass this quality on to our customers is a great feeling,” Managing Director David Morland commented.

The importance and relevancy of the BS EN1090 ex-2 certification for Structural Steel is vital when working with steel frames, metal roofing, and large building projects that require steel components, showing that those who are certified use and manufacture steel to the lawful standard.

“As a team, we focus on our core values – providing high-quality, cost-effective steelwork to businesses in the Northeast and throughout the UK. Our commitment to establishing robust processes that add quality into every aspect of metal fabrication has allowed us to grow at such a fast pace over the past 12 to 18 months. After weathering out a global pandemic, we’re looking forward to 2023 and beyond with optimism, and these accreditations only fuel our drive for future growth.”

ISO 9001 is one of the most renowned quality management system standards for businesses. Holding businesses and leaders to account, ISO 9001 helps businesses to continue to provide high-quality processes to their customers and improve industry standards as a result.

“The ISO 9001 certification is something we’re extremely proud of as a team. We have continued to build quality into all of our processes and service delivery for our customers, and to have this officially recognised is a great feeling for the business.”

These audits and reviews are rigorous processes that analyse and check that the requirements for quality standards are met.

As industry standards continue to be challenged, more and more businesses are encouraged to achieve these certifications to raise quality and safety across sectors.
